JUWSPA Kids with Camille Serisier

Sat 16 & Sun 17 September
10am-2pm
Drop-in activity
Does your child love to play on the beach and imagine what worlds lay beneath the waves? For the first two days of the Queensland school holidays, dive into “the land down-under” an alternative underwater world where Gold Coast kids are the star of the show!

Created by the artist Camille Serisier, as part of the Josephine Ulrick Win Schubert Award 2017 exhibition, JUWSPA Kids is an immersive experience that combines elements of theatrical production and photographic documentation in a celebration of childhood beach play. Bring your smart phone or camera and snap your sweetie as they star in “the land down-under”.

Nature Play QLD

10am-5pm daily
Choose your own adventure and catch the photography bug while exploring with your own Nature Play passport. You can get active and creative these holidays when you come to the Gallery and choose your own mission. Don’t forget to photograph your adventure!

Nature Play QLD has a range of missions for all interests and a whole new passport themed around the Commonwealth Games. Choose the missions that best suit you and put a stamp in your passport for each completed mission. You can sign up online here www.natureplayqld.org.au or just come straight to the Gallery and get started.

Simply collect your missions and passports from the Gallery reception desk. The missions take place outside in the Evandale Parklands.

Fun for all ages. This is a self-guided activity for families to enjoy together.
